2026 Victorian State Election
Victoria Walks is calling on all political parties to commit to the following three practical actions to make Victoria’s growing communities more walkable:
Victoria has committed to increasing active transport to 25 per cent of all trips and halving road deaths by 2030, while planning significant housing growth in Activity Centres, urban renewal areas and growth areas. Achieving these ambitions will require sustained investment in the infrastructure, expertise and policy settings that make walking safe, convenient and accessible.
